Wildstone Farm is located in Pownal, Vermont. It is owned and operated by Joy and John Primmer. For the past 23 years, Joy and John have been providing fresh local organic produce to Wild Oats. Wildstone Farm is a Vermont certified organic farm. You are probably familiar with their produce under the name “Joy’s Greens” in the store.

The Primmers provide Wild Oats with a wide variety of local produce from early Spring through the Fall. Those products include herbs, greens, beets, onions, tomatoes, potatoes, and sunflowers.

Joy and John derive their livelihood from Wildstone Farm. They were local agricultural producers when farmer’s markets were small and few and far between. They have been local producers when times were lean and interest low in local agricultural production. At this critical time for local agriculture, when local farmers are striving for viability and local shoppers have renewed interest in their production, Joy and John’s hard work and long commitment to organic produce and local agriculture are a hopeful inspiration.
