Full Belly Farm has been farmed using organic practices since 1985. Today Andrew Brait, Paul Muller, Judith Redmond and Dru Rivers own the 250-acre certified organic farm and grow, with the help of about 25 to 30 employees, vegetables, herbs, nuts, flowers, and fruits.

Full Belly dedicates itself to farm production with integrated long-term environmental and social goals. Among these goals include growing over 80 different crops, providing year-round employment for farm labor, using cover crops that fix nitrogen and provide organic matter for the soil, and planting habitat areas for beneficial insects and wildlife. Fully Belly hosts outreach activities, including educational tours, school visits, and their acclaimed Hoes Down Harvest Festival, which celebrates rural life and educates the public about sustainable farming.
