You will need: Green beans, Roma tomatoes, garlic, fresh basil and olive oil.
Blanch 1 pound of clipped and cleaned fresh local green beans in salted boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain and chill. Add 2 Roma tomatoes (sliced into thin wedges), 2 cloves of fresh chopped garlic and about 3 tablespoons of garden fresh basil cut into thin strips. Splash with olive oil, season with salt and pepper and serve with grilled local meat or chicken.
