Summer is the perfect time to sit outside in the evening with a refreshing beverage, the company of friends and tasty hors d'voeuvres.
Eat Local Skagit is off to a great start - it's best time of year in one of the best places on earth!
Day 2 of the Eat Local challenge-
Here's what I've eaten so far:
Breakfast
You will need: Green peppers, corn kernels, black eyed peas (or other cooked beans), smoked cheddar cheese, jalapeno pepper, butter, fresh cilantro, chili powder or Cajun spice.
You will need: Baking potatoes, cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar (or Swiss) cheese, garlic, scallions and chives.
You will need: Cucumbers, red onion, feta cheese, red wine vinaigrette.
