My name is Kate Ferry and my blog is www.sacredbee.net. I live in Custer, Washington ( about 90 minutes north of Seattle and 60 minutes south of Vancouver, Canada). I am the mother to a vivacious 21-month old daughter, Beckett, a humane society adopted mutt, Tucker, and my terrific husband, Jacob. I work full time for a school district, but find my greatest passion in keeping bees. We currently have two hives at our home in the country and enjoy an abundance of honey in August and September and beeswax candles all year round.
